The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has appointed Alison Tosh as executive manager to lead the national trade and working capital team at the lender’s business bank.
She started in the role in late March and reports to CBA’s general manager of working capital, Elizabeth Huxley, in the business lending team.
Tosh joins after spending more than two decades at Citi, where her most recent role was head of trade and working capital for Australia and New Zealand.
She also spent 10 years in London, including as director for treasury and trade solutions sales at Citi.
In her role at CBA, Tosh will be responsible for supporting the trade and working capital requirements of key clients.
Huxley said: “We’re pleased to welcome Alison to CBA to lead trade and working capital for our major client group, further strengthening our leadership and capability in this area.
“Australian businesses are operating in an increasingly complex environment, where managing liquidity, supply chains and risk has never been more important. Our working capital business is focused on supporting Australia’s businesses with tailored trade and working capital solutions that help them optimise cash flow and trade with confidence.”
