Trade credit insurance broker Impello Global has appointed John Minor as head of special risks.

Minor starts in the role on April 27 and will be based in Chicago, reporting to Jeramie Maxwell, Impello’s president.

Minor joins Impello from broker Polirisk Solutions, where he served as political risk and structured credit insurance practice leader.

Maxwell said: “John is one of the leading experts in the business with a proven track record in delivering innovative solutions for clients in a wide range of industries.

“His knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset for us as we continue to serve the needs of our global clients.”

Minor added that he looks forward to “working with Jeramie and the team at Impello and making a meaningful contribution to the firm’s continued success”.
