Banking veteran Paul Simpson will move to Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) from Citi to take up a newly created treasury services position.

Simpson will become BAML’s head of global treasury solutions in May, a bank spokesperson tells GTR.

He will also oversee the bank’s trade finance business.

Simpson is currently head of treasury and trade solutions in Citi’s global transaction services business.
