Mead has unique experience in trade and commodity finance, emerging market fixed income asset management, and emerging market structured finance. He is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Head Portfolio Manager at Octagon Asset Management, a niche asset manager that specialises in structured trade and commodity finance, which launched in 1997. Prior to Octagon, Mead worked at Cargill Financial Services International as one of the original members of the emerging markets, trade and structured finance group.
