Law firm Sullivan has brought in Veronika Koroleva, the former head of Hill Dickinson’s trade finance practice, further bolstering its trade and export finance practice.
London-based Koroleva has been hired as counsel at the firm after nearly a year at Hill Dickinson and more than six years at gunnercooke.
She started her career at Dentons in 2001, before becoming a partner in 2011 and leading its trade and commodity finance practice between 2013 and 2016.
Sullivan said Koroleva “brings extensive experience in trade and commodity finance, including structured trade, receivables and supply chain finance”.
Her appointment also marks a continued expansion of the firm’s trade and export finance practice, following appointment of Geraldine Butac as counsel in May and last year’s additions of partners Robert Parson and Matthew Cox.
Koroleva said she is “excited to be a part of the dedicated team and happy to work with people I have known and respected for many years”.
Sullivan was named ‘best trade or supply chain finance law firm’ at this year’s GTR Leaders in Trade awards.
